We’ll let you in on a secret: Serving as a Kids’ Small Group Leader is the most fun way to get involved at Restoration on a Sunday, and it’s a great way to grow in your own faith. We’re looking for leaders for all three services (9 & 11 am and 5 pm) starting in September. Interested? Want more info? Contact Louise: go to restorationarlington.org/contact and choose “Children’s Ministry.”
Now there are two ways to serve at AFAC. 1) Summer farmers market runs: We collect surplus produce from a local market on Sunday afternoons and prepare it for distribution to AFAC clients. 2) Fourth Tuesdays: Each month, we distribute food at AFAC from 6:30–9 pm. For both opportunities, everyone 14 and up is welcome. Sign up at restorationarlington.org/ministries/outreach/local.
Eager to move to the new building? We are, too. We’re in the final stages of construction and plan to have our first services back on Quincy St. sometime later this summer or early fall. Watch this space for details.
