Sunday Announcements – July 7, 2019

  1. It’s summer at Restoration and our summer schedule is in full swing! We only have services at 9 AM and 11 AM and we only have nursery and preschool kids’ small groups. [Big kids worship with us in the service with kids’ worship bags available downstairs.]
  2. Wishing that summer meant small groups for adults? It does! There is a summer small group that’s just gotten started and it’s not too late to join Scott on Thursdays from 7:30-9 PM at Restoration. Come to pray, read Scripture, and build our own personal Rule of Life. Email Scott ( to sign up.
  3. Hungry for some fun? Sunday, July 14 at 6 PM is the annual Resto Summer Cookout at Oak Grove Park (1606 N. Quincy St. – across from where we park on Sundays). Restoration will provide meat, veggie burgers, and drinks. You get to help with desserts (last names A-G) and sides (last names H-Z). If it rains, we’ll feast in the Fellowship Hall.
  4. Connect with other RestoWomen through smaller gatherings throughout the summer. Check them out and sign up here: or just ask Beth. (
  5. AFAC Volunteers Needed! Sunday afternoons (12:45-3:30 PM) in July and August, volunteers are needed to collect produce from local farmer’s markets.
