This fall, there are two opportunities for a brief pilgrimage to the U.S./Mexico border in El Paso, TX and Juarez, Mexico in partnership with Abrara, our Holy Week offering recipient this year.

Abara Border Encounters are 3-day educational immersion experiences designed for faith groups. These encounters provide opportunities to listen, learn, and reflect on what the border can teach us, who we are meant to become, and how we can engage with the stranger and immigrant among us.  The experience will offer opportunities to hear from a wide spectrum of voices with a high emphasis on justice, peace, healing, and transformation.
