Vines and Vestries
Vine Clearing
Bitterly cold? check. Strong winds? Check. Chance to wear garden gloves in February? Check. Tomorrow morning it will be 24 degrees at 9am. With the wind it will feel like 16. What a perfect opportunity to jump in with our Cherrydale neighbors and clean up the invasive vines around Hidden Pond on the Custis Trail. We will need the hardy, good-natured, generous servants for which Restoration is famous. Put on a hat and scarf and join us!!

Here is a map of the section of the trail we will be working on. You can see that it is just a short walk south of the church. Come on out for an hour and then we’ll get some hot chocolate together. It’ll be cold, but it will warm your heart. [cheesy, I know.]
Vestry Update
Did you know that we post the minutes from our monthly vestry meetings on CCB? If you have a log-in, you are welcome to view the monthly pdf in the ‘files’ tab of ‘entire church group’. This is a great way to stay informed on the decisions the vestry is making and how they are affecting our church.
The vestry chooses 4 officers every year. In 2013, we will be served by 2 wardens: Krista Obitts and Santiago Sedaca, a secretary: Cindy Darnell, and a treasurer: Mac Wheatley. The wardens are close advisors to the Rector on a myriad of topics and they provide leadership for vestry meetings. The secretary builds our ‘institutional knowledge’ and keeps the congregation informed of decisions and discussions through monthly minutes. The treasurer chairs the finance team and provides timely reports to the vestry and the congregation of Restoration’s financial activity. Our church is fortunate to have such great servant leaders at the helm. I am thankful to God.
Women’s Retreat registration closes on Sunday, February 3. Over 70 people have signed up for a great weekend of rest, conversation, and creative teaching. I hope you will take advantage of this wonderful opportunity. Last chance to sign up is Sunday.
Have a great weekend.

There is certainly noticeably a bundle to understand about this. I assume you created specific nice points in features also.
